Cadets from all three branches of the services have benefitted from three years-worth of raffles run by Astral Lodge.
Darren Austin, (sixth left in the picture), who’d been the Lodge’s Master throughout those years, led presentations as follows:
- 195 Sqdn Air Cadets with two cheques totaling £1000, £500 each from Astral Lodge and the New Provincial Benevolent Fund for the ongoing upkeep of the RAF Memorial Bench and Airmen Memorial on Alexandra Road, Cleethorpes, hopefully as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
- Grimsby & Cleethorpes Sea Cadets £500, presented on the day to Bro Graham Reynolds Chairman of Royal Navy Association. (third left), and
- Grimsby & Cleethorpes Army Cadets £500
