KT Knights Keith Appleton of the St Paul’s Preceptory and David Bird of Sutcliffe Preceptory have completed the White Peak Challenge Walk in Derbyshire’s Peak District.
It’s a 26-mile circular walk that has to be completed in less that twelve hours, and they got round in 10 hours and seven minutes, raising £1,100 for the St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital.
They presented a cheque to Malcolm Bilton, the order’s Provincial Prior of Lincolnshire, at the Lincolnshire Provincial Priory meeting in October, which took place in the Chapter House at Lincoln Cathedral. In the picture are, from left, Keith Appleton, Malcolm Bilton and David Bird.
