What’s going on here? A bus queue? No. The doctor’s waiting room? Still no. Extras waiting to appear on Last of the Summer Wine. No again. These are Grand Officers, from left, Richard Garn, John Grimwood, and Tony Stanberry waiting with PGM Dave Wheeler for the team procession at Welland Lodge 9556 Installation meeting at Spalding this week.
Dave Wheeler said: “Despite last minute changes forced by Installing Master Tim Cox unavoidably absent after testing positive for Covid, the Lodge quickly regrouped with IPM Jon Cooper conducting a first class ceremony, installing Brother Jonathan Tole into the Chair of King Solomon.
“A lovely evening ensued, with an excellent festive board with both the lodge collection, using gift aid envelopes, and the raffle raising funds for the 2025 Festival.”
