Initiate’s case means he’ll be prepared as a member of scouting lodge

Rudyard Kipling Lodge has initiated Richard Harvey, who became the Lodge’s first member to be given an ‘introductory case’ as part of his joining Freemasonry.

He was given the case by Ryan Dolby, watched by  proposer Howard Nelson and seconder Dennis Roberts. Ryan said: “We are delighted to have Richard as a member of our happy lodge and we look forward to seeing him progress on his masonic journey.

“He is the first initiate in Rudyard Kipling Lodge to receive a Lodge Case. We hope this initiative will give the candidate the tools to understand and progress with his masonic journey from the get go, as well as making them feel fully included. As Richard progresses through his journey he will receive new literature helping him to understand each part of his journey that little bit more.”
