Freemasons’ double donation keeps Skegness nurses on the move

Nurses working on a mobile chemotherapy unit in Skegness will be able to travel to the unit for another year thanks to donations from two groups of the town’s Freemasons.

In a never-before-arranged double donation members of Lumley Lodge and Lumley Chapter have each given £500 to the League of Friends at Skegness Hospital, whose members support the whole hospital.

Simon Noden of the Lodge, in the blue collar, and Ian Roberts in the burgundy one, gave the cheques to Bess Smith, surrounded by other members of League of Friends.

in a packed evening Lumley Lodge also gave £250 to Skegness Silver Band, who played music for carol singing.
