Tickets have gone on sale for the first major event under the Lincolnshire Festival banner – Concert at the Castle.
For the first time ever we are to stage an event inside the walls of one of the county’s most iconic landmarks with all of the Province’s brethren invited to bring family, friends, and neighbours to the event, on May 30th 2020.
“Everyone’s welcome,” said Festival Events Committee Chairman Gideon Hall. “It promises to be a wonderful event and an opportunity for us all to gather in a wonderful setting and have a memorable night out.”
The format is to be informal and relaxed; although arrangements are being made to have food and drink available it’s recommended to bring picnic and ‘set up camp’ on the carefully-groomed lawns inside the Castle walls.
“We shall be arranging live music by Lincolnshire bands, including an Abba tribute act,” said Gideon, who also sounded a warning: “Ticket numbers are limited, so I’d advise everyone to get in early so as not to be disappointed.”
• The cost is £15 for adults and £5 for under-16s, and will soon be available from Lodge Charity Stewards. They can also be bought online at
https://boxoffice.venueserve.com/event/102 – but there’s a 50p per ticket booking fee for that option.
