An excellent ceremony saw Lincolnshire’s newest companion, Dionysios Alkiviadis Steas, exalted in to the Royal Arch at Hope Chapter no. 588.
Companion Steas, affectionately known as ‘Dennis’, is a member of Daedalus Lodge at Sleaford but has recently moved to the Bristol area so he left straight after the festive board for his four-hour drive home.
It was also the last team visit for the Provincial Chapter team, who once again turned out in great numbers. Said Grand Superintendent Dave Wheeler: “To see both the Chapter and dining rooms full was the icing on the cake after a very successful evening. The cherry on the top was when a cheque from the companions of Hope Chapter was given to me, adding £150 in support of the 2025 Festival. It was very gratefully received.”
