A very special event was held in the Masonic Hall, Grantham on Sunday, 19th May. This was organised by the South Lincs Ladies who had invited Mr Brian Cummings MBE to speak about his life as a Chelsea Pensioner. After a most enjoyable lunch Mr Cummings gave a very informative, highly entertaining and, in parts, hilarious account of his life in general and as a Chelsea pensioner in particular. This well attended occasion, which drew visitors from all over Lincolnshire, was a great success and enjoyed by all.
