Chuck Boulton from Paulinus Lodge in Lincoln has won the latest of our Gerald Scalter cartoon competitions with his suggestion, which we’ve included in the cartoon above.
Second was Tony Curtis of Ashlar Lodge, who suggested: “Me thinks the Inner Guard has forgotten his contact lenses again,” and third was Peter Mason of Lumley Lodge, who suggested: “Yes, Brother Inner Guard, I think he got the point.”
As usual, the entries were judged blind by our PGM Dave Wheeler, who’ll have just three more competitions to judge. Next Friday’s will be the last for a fortnight, with the remaining two published on June 19th and July 3rd respectively. After that, the winning entries in all three competitions will be shared with Gerald himself, who’ll be asked to select a ‘champion of champions’. No pressure there then…
