Cleethorpes Freemasons provided the perfect springboard for the latest series of Members’ Pathway seminars by providing free tea and coffee for more than thirty people involved and allowing the team to use their hall at no charge.
Organiser Mike Clay, Provincial Membership Officer, said: “It was a special gesture to get this season’s seminars off to a great start, showing that the Cleethorpes brethren understand the importance of us working together to help the Province make the best effort we can to reverse the decline in membership.”
This first seminar brought together representatives from Lodges in Cleethorpes, Grimsby, Brigg, and Barton to hear presentations about membership, mentoring, learning and development, the work of Almoner, the Royal Arch, and communications.
Provincial Comms Officer Stuart Pearcey said: “Delegates were able to get an insight not only into what’s available in the Members’ Pathway, but also how its ideas can be implemented in their own Lodges.
”I thought it was a really useful session, with ideas coming forward that we can maximise as the future unfolds – and which we’ll share once necessary background work is complete.”
• Dates and venues for future seminars will be published in due course, with representatives of all lodges eventually being invited to attend.
