More than 500 people made the most of the Sunday sunshine to share each other’s company at two hog roast events staged by Freemasons in our Province.
Run in the same afternoon the two events took place eighty miles apart – showing just how big the Masonic Province of Lincolnshire really is – at Crowle in the north and Surfleet in the south.
Both events will have raised funds for charity, but the actual numbers aren’t yet in – calculations are still being made.
At Crowle the event was at the home of Robin and Ginnie Barker; at Surfleet thanks were due to Tim Wayman for the use of his arboretum as the setting.
