Freemasons’ donation helps club to pack a punch
No Freemasons were hurt during the presentation of this cheque! – in fact Nick Preston and other members of the Cobra Ju-Jitsu Club were pleased when Wayne Lagden turned up.
Wayne’s the current Master of Lumley Lodge in Skegness, and that’s him smiling in the grip of Nick during a visit to the club’s presentation evening.
Money to back up the Freemasons’ cheque came from the New Provincial Benevolent Fund, from which each of Lincolnshire’s 76 Lodges are given £500 to give to the good cause of their choice every year.
