More than 1,000 face coverings for distribution from food banks around Lincolnshire are to be made with support from the area’s Freemasons.
The work is being done in collaboration with the Lincoln-based For the Love of Scrubs group, who’ll make the facemasks with offcuts from almost 11,000 sets of scrubs they’ve made, and line them with the Freemasons’ fabric.
Freemason Phil Spicksley delivered the fabric to Pearl Constance, right, asking that they go to the food banks. He said: “The group is making masks for a number of different groups, and I asked that the material be used for the foodbanks across Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North-East Lincolnshire and they will be put in with food parcels for the people who really need them.”
