Simon Dixon, the Master of Grimsby’s Astral Lodge has presented a cheque for £250 from the Lodge Benevolent Fund to Ms. Charlotte Marshall and Sara Wagstaff of the Butterflies Day Nursery.
The Butterflies Day Nursery, on the Nunsthorpe Estate, Grimsby, is a 68-place charitable nursery catering exclusively to children from birth to 7 years and 11 months.
The Nursery opens 8am to 6pm all year round, and as well as delivering teaching and activities, including field trips, also gives the children healthy breakfasts and teas.
The Butterflies Day Nursery is a vital part of the local community and provides support to the whole family. They provide all this thanks to donations.
Whilst the Nursery is based in the Centre 4 complex, it is not a part of the local authority and receives no financial input from them.
