To support the work of an organisation helping homeless people and those struggling with the cost-of-living crisis Freemasons of Lincoln’s Minster Lodge have made a donation of £1,800.
East Coast Homeless Outreach – known as ECHO – is a community volunteer group that helps the homeless and those struggling with the cost-of-living crisis, including feeding hungry children.
The money was raised during John Watkinson’s year as Master of the Lodge, with ECHO being just one of the two charities he chose to support. John kick-started the year with sponsorship of a coast-to-coast bike ride, and topped up the pot with funds raised at the Lodge Summer BBQ, Christmas Lunch, Ladies Night and a festive board raffle.
John said: “ECHO is a very worthy cause which I shall continue to support. I’d be delighted to hear from any brother who would like to help.”
