Masonic scholar and original thinker Darren Desker from Singapore came to Lincoln to talk about the symbols of the Craft and Royal Arch to about 50 members from 23 Lodges.
Provincial Learning and Development Officer Nick Brown, who organised the talk, writes: “Darren considered symbols, links and imagery from four magnificent ceremonies from a range of angles and different points of view. Brethren were treated to an enthralling presentation and thought-provoking discussion followed by a meal.
“The conversation continued and each brother or companion there made their own personal daily advancement. The conversation and enthusiasm were infectious, as Freemasonry’s central narrative is open to many different interpretations.
“Lincolnshire’s L & D team hope to invite brethren to future events. Please keep your eyes open to future communications and seize the opportunity to make your next daily advancement.”
