Living the dream: Ian and Mandy make auction win go with a banger

Ian and Mandy Wilmot were the successful bidders for a special sausage-making session offered in the Lincolnshire Festival Ball auction – and they have been able to fulfil the dream of making their own Lincolnshire sausages.

After winning the auction, donated by W Bro Derek North, they took up the experience to make their dream come true, making twenty pounds of of finest Lincolnshire sausages to Granny North’s Secret Recipe – with a little twist of their own to suit their taste.

They carefully mixed the ingredients and then drove the  manually-operated sausage machine was carefully loaded and operated to produce the perfect Lincolnshire sausage, which they were then able to link
