Members of the Lodge of Harmony in Boston enjoyed a very special Installation meeting when the incoming Master Tom Kemp was expertly installed by Carl Smith.
Tom was presented for Installation by his father Chris, who was Master in 1997. Chris’s father and Tom’s Grandfather, Alan, was Master in 1976 but he sadly passed away in 2012.
The Lodge of Harmony, one of the oldest in Lincolnshire, has a tradition of reading an extract from past lodge minutes at their meetings. Asst Secretary Bryan Skinner went ‘modern’ for this meeting reading an extract from 1976, the year the new WM’s Grandfather was Installed to add to the rich history of the lodge.
The PGM, DPGM and APGM were also in attendance, with the full Provincial team, making it a very special and enjoyable evening for all present. A member of the team told Provincial Communications Officer Stuart Pearcey: “The ceremony was sublime; beautifully performed to the highest standards. It rekindled my faith in the just how good Freemasonry can be.”
