The latest Hermes Lodge meeting in Louth was an evening for learning on three fronts, writes DC Harjit Bains.
FIRSTLY there was a very informative lecture from W Bro L A Darby the Lodge’s Royal Arch Representative, who spoke about Chapter Freemasonry.
SECONDLY there was a lecture and report from charity steward Ian Fletcher on Masonic charities and how it all works, which was backed up by Liaison Officer Tim Miller.
AND FINALLY, at the Festive Board attended by 40 members Lodge secretary Geoff Tuckett spoke about the retirement of Martin Smith, who was presented a gavel, made by Rob Ware, and a malt whisky by the lodge Master Steve Marshall.
