Masterful display puts Simon in the chair at Shakespeare Lodge

Simon Clayton has been installed in the chair by Mike Gale to lead Spilsby-based Shakespeare Lodge, in a ceremony watched by his real-life brother Mark and APGM Jez Hyland representing the PGM.

Is Simon a glutton for punishment? You decide: he was Master of Franklin Lodge in 2018, and in September this year goes into the chair at Boston’s Pilgrim Fathers Lodge.

A number of Masters in office were there too, who all made sure Simon got the point in our main picture. They are, from left, Craig Robinson from Eccles Lodge, Mike Adams from St Clement, Simon Clayton Simon Noden from Lumley Lodge and Yvans Feverier from Lindsey Lodge.
