Lincolnshire’s Deputy Grand Principal Mike Rix took a break from a holiday in the West Country to meet prolific writer Michael Lee, creator of the Fred and Charlie series of writings about Freemasonry.
Salisbury-resident Michael, now 95, is still writing and has clocked up more than 300 articles about Freemasonry, including 180 Fred and Charlie articles. He is Past DGS and Past Preceptor for Wiltshire.
Mike said: “Fred and Charlie address interesting topics, some controversial that are relevant in Freemasonry particularly to newer Brothers and Companions. The articles are written as a dialogue to make them easier to read and take in. We use Lincolnshire, and they form a major section in Solomon. I highly recommend them!”
