There’s no point in money that brethren have given for charity sitting in the bank accounts doing nothing, say members of the Candleshoe Chapter Rose Croix – so they’ve given £250 to Charity Steward Pete Tong to put into the #Lincs2025 Festival.
Giving the money, Dean Slater, the Chapter’s Most Wise Sovereign, said: “The brethren have given the money to go to charity and to be used to benefit those in need. What better way to do that than to give it to the 2025 Festival? From there it will benefit Masons and their families and the wider public; something it could never do sitting in our bank account.”
The Inspector General for Lincolnshire, Trevor Clingan, said he was pleased Rose Croix Chapters in Lincolnshire and their members were actively supporting the Festival and, through it, the fantastic work done by the Freemasons’ charity the Masonic Charitable Foundation.
