Seven brethren from Lincolnshire visited St Nicholas Lodge in Hertfordshire to watch a unique ceremony in which former Paulinus Lodge member Dave Robinson was installed into the Chair.
What made the meeting unique was the presence of two Provincial Grand Masters – Dave Wheeler from Lincolnshire, himself a member of Paulinus Lodge, and Neil Connolly from Hertfordshire.
Dave Robinson moved to Harpenden five years ago. Dave Wheeler said: “The Lodge met in the Eric Morecambe Centre, with the brethren leaving the Lodge to the tune of ‘Bring me Sunshine’, followed by a very happy festive board which included Lincolnshire sausage and mash! Also present was Dennis Holmes, ProvSGD on the Lincolnshire provincial team this year, who is also a Hertfordshire mason.
“If you can find them on the photo you will see Dave Wheeler, Chuck Boulton, Dennis Holmes, Jason Fitzgerald, Chris Foster, John Mawer, Steve Kirby and Steve Ellicker, who all enjoyed a great time in ‘Happy Hertfordshire’!”
