Freemasons from St Clement Lodge in Skegness opened the building to present £500 to Skegness Lifeboat Station, which was accepted by Mairi Perry, its head fundraiser, who was accompanied by several boat crew, shop assistants and fundraisers.
In a tw0-hour visit Lodge members and RNLI reps shared tea, coffee, scones and jam from Caroline and Rob Watson, which went down very well.
The money came from the Province of Lincolnshire’s New Provincial Benevolent Fund, which gives each of the Province’s 75 Lodges £500 every year to pass on to the good cause of their choice.
