Sleaford Freemasons do their best for scouts’ campsite

Stamford & Bourne District Scout Council, the management tier of all Scout Groups across the District, have been presented with a donation of £500 by Sleaford-based St Botolph’s Lodge from the Lincolnshire Masonic Province Charity Fund.

The donation will help towards the development of facilities at their Shacklewell Hollow camp  site, used by the youth members for camping and in the Holiday Centre on site.

The long-term aim is to improve the facilities to make winter use comfortable allowing them to provide activities on the site throughout the year. Currently the site closes for about five months each year.
