The Lincolnshire Masonic Social Committee had its latest meeting of Lodge Linkmen and Ladies followed by Lunch at the Horncastle Masonic Centre.
The Committee meets four times a year at different Masonic Centres to arrange Social Events for Freemasons, family and friends during the year. This year has included the Market Rasen Funday, Ladies Weekend at Norwich, Sunday Lunch at Hemswell, Batemans Brewery Tour and other events as well as organizing the Provincial Quiz.
The Committee was formed in the 1980s from an idea of V W Bro Walter Patton, W Bro Jack Wayman, W Bro Weston and W Bro Ben White, when the then Provincial Grand Master Rt W Bro G M Cooper gave his agreement and a first meeting was held at the Horncastle Masonic Rooms, and has continued ever since.
The Committee consists of a Linkman from each Lodge including their Wife or Partner as members.
