St Pega Church in Peakirk village had their lead stolen last November from the roof. The members of St Pega Lodge have been fund raising and last Tuesday as part of a ‘white table evening’, of a combined church visit to view the wall paintings in the church, followed by a talk at the Lodge on the life of St Pega, the Lodge members presented a cheque for £500 towards a new roof, followed by another £180 from the raffle at the festive board.
