A few days before he finishes his year as Worshipful Master of his Craft Lodge Steve Povah has been exalted as a Royal Arch companion in the Round Table Chapter of Lincolnshire at its Horncastle base.
Next week he will install Peter Rafferty as his successor in the Chair of the Hamilton Lodge in Alford.
Steve is pictured with his proposer into The Royal Arch, Ex. Comp Andrew Ashwood, who is also the Director of Ceremonies and the Royal Arch Rep at Hamilton Lodge. It was Andrew who suggested that Steve might like to extend his circle of Masonic friends by joining a Chapter elsewhere in Lincolnshire Freemasons.
Responding to the toast at the Festive Board, Steve thanked the Companions for a very enjoyable ceremony and for the warm welcome he received while embarking on the next ‘Chapter’ of his journey in Freemasonry.
