Stuart Lincoln of the Lodge of Harmony in Boston wore his father’s shoes for the first time when he received his 50-year certificate.
The footwear had been worn by his father, a member of the Isle of Axholme Lodge in Crowle, where Stuart was initiated, and Stuart found them only recently. Stuart moved to the Deeping area and joined the St Pega Lodge, and then moved to Boston in the early 90s, when he joined the Lodge of Harmony. Although he hasn’t been through the Chair, he has been a regular attender and was Lodge Treasurer for several years.
He was given his 50-year certificate by the current Provincial Junior Grand Warden Stuart Butler.
