Organisations throughout Lincolnshire are invited to hear about Freemasonry from the people who know most about it – the Freemasons themselves.
In a move designed to raise our profile in the community at large Provincial Grand Master Dave Wheeler, Communications Officer Stuart Pearcey, and former APGM Peter Brooks are available to meet groups to talk about what we are and what we do.
Dave said: “This is an initiative launched pre-Covid, which of course brought things to a halt. We have done a few talks, which have proved there’s a thirst for knowledge about us. At one of them I gave out almost 50 of our Discover Freemasonry in Lincolnshire booklets. I expected to collect most of them up afterwards, but all were taken away by audience members, and I was even asked for more copies.”
Stuart Pearcey said: “The best way to learn about anything is to ask someone who really knows about it, and will give honest, accurate answers. That’s what this initiative is designed to do. But if face-to-face presentations aren’t the preferred option to learn more about us, there are other ways. We have lots of web sites, and a strong social media presence, and even a YouTube channel. Search Lincolnshire Freemasons to discover a number of interesting interviews sure to have you saying ‘well, I never knew that…’. All of those will guide anyone to the real truth of our organisation.”
To organise a talk for your organisation, in the first instance drop an email to stuart@wordsman.co.uk. Leave a phone number, and he’ll get in touch.
