While events planned in support of #Lincs2025 Festival have been put on hold, David Barnes of Lindum Lodge no.5777 in Lincoln has come up with a way for us to tour the Province from the safety of our own homes – with the chance to win £50.
He’s developed a virtual Treasure Hunt. It involves answering questions which identify Lincolnshire Lodges or centres, and then calculating travelling times and distances between them. “That can be done with any tool at your disposal,” says David.”Use maps, slide rules, calculators, the internet – whatever works for you.”
The entry fee is just £5, and the winner will be given £50 with anything left over going towards our #Lincs2025 Festival.
You can pay the entry fee online at the this link (follow instructions in description) https://e0151.everydayhero.com/uk/virtual-treasure-hunt or you can can send a cheque payable to ‘Lindum Charity Fund’ to W Bro D Barnes, 18 Salisbury Drive, Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln, LN4 2SW. Rules and questions will be emailed or posted (remember to send your name and address) to participants on receiving the entry fee.
