The role of the magnificent Freemasons Hall in London’s Great Queen Street as a war memorial has been reinforced with a range of tributes for Remembrance Day 2020.
From poppies and poetry projected onto its outside walls to interior displays, in honour of the 3,000 members who died in the Great War, the Art Deco masterpiece building once offers a reminder of its original purpose. The names of the fallen, and their lodges, are recorded in a roll of honour inside the building, which sits beneath a stained glass window given by the Province of Lincolnshire. All of the installation is captured in today’s addition to our video channel, which you can view here: https://bit.ly/3dLNQWl
