Freemasons from around the UK are being invited to take part in our first-ever united National Act of Remembrance.
Hosted by the Province of Staffordshire, the event will take place on Saturday, 2nd November at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas.
The invitation is open to Lodge members, families and friends not only to honour the memory of those who served, but also to reinforce our shared commitment to serving the wider community as Freemasons.
The day will start at 10am, with music starting at about 10:30 with a performance by the Poynton Royal British Legion Concert Band before the traditional service of remembrance, during which official wreaths will be laid. Lodges are invited to take part by laying a wreath and bringing their banners.
After the service there will be an informal light lunch for up to 300 guests, subject to advance reservations and a fee. Alternatively, there is a restaurant on site should you wish to make your own arrangements.
Visitors are invite to explore the National Memorial Arboretum after the service. You may also book a guided tour directly through the Arboretum’s website.
Future services will be led by other Provinces and Districts. There’s a link below through which you can book places, and to help with arrangements, please specify if you wish to:
