Lincolnshire is launching Inter-Lodge Challenge, an online knockout quiz based upon the classic University Challenge format to find out which Lodge is the smartest in the Province.
What’s the format? Organiser and Quizmaster Nick Brown, right, explains: “The Lodges who enter teams will be invited to make a donation to the #Lincs2025 Festival. They will be paired off into a knockout competition which will see one Lodge crowned as the smartest in the Province.
In the contest, there will be a Masonic ‘starter for ten’ question with a series of general knowledge follow up questions. Each contest will last for 20- 30 minutes, and be recorded so that it can be shared online through the Provincial web site and Facebook group.”
Where will the contests take place? Each contest will take place at an assigned time on Zoom, these details will be sent to each team member. Zoom is easy to use. A support guide is on the web site at this link.
When will it take place? The tournament will take place over the next few weeks.
What do you need to do to take part?
1. Build a team of 3- 5 Lodge members who all have access to Zoom
2. Email your Lodge name along with a list of team members (and their email addresses) to the Assistant Provincial Mentor Nick Brown – he’s at nicktheonion@hotmail.com – no later than Thursday 7th May.
