On behalf of members of Lincoln’s Witham Lodge its Master Daniel Bilclough has presented Steven Stylianou, chairman of the Lincolnshire Autistic Society, with a cheque for £600.
The society currently hosts the hugely valuable Lincolnshire Autism Information Hub for the county.
Mr Stylianou said:“In the last couple of years we have held Masterclass workshops on the processes surrounding Education, Health and Care Plans to empower families. We have also bought in ASDAN training for local support groups (PAACT and Rainbow Stars) to enable them to support parents who are educating their children and young people at home.
“We are currently exploring how we can best support families across Lincolnshire at pre-diagnosis and this donation will help towards providing that.”
The funds were raised at Daniel and Laura’s Ladies Night, and the LAS, chosen by the WM’s Lady as the evenings beneficiary, has a special place in their hearts.
