Members and guests of Gainsborough-based Yarborough Lodge have enthusiastically celebrated the lodge’s 2,000th meeting.
The landmark meeting was opened after which liaison officer Peter Brooks, who is also the AsstPGM, took the gavel to address the brethren with a brief and enjoyable history of the lodge before handing back to the WM for the evening when a raising took place.
This was followed by a joyous festive board four-course dinner with port and cheese.
Only three Lincolnshire lodges are older than Yarborough Lodge 422, whose warrant is dated September 29th, 1834.
Many thanks to Andy Urry for the pictures.
