Lincolnshire’s Emergency Blood Bikers will put a £200 donation from Scunthorpe Freemasons towards a new IT system to support their round the clock 365-day-a-year service.
The volunteer bikers, who deliver blood, medical supplies, paperwork, breast milk and other supplies rely entirely on donations. This year they have already covered 150,000 miles with six weeks still to go.
Freemasons are regular supporters of the Blood Bikers, and will be given a new motorbike by members of the Mark Degree.
