Lincolnshire’s motorcycling Freemasons continue to be out on the road making vital deliveries across the Province.
As well as twice-weekly deliveries of meals prepared by Mike and Jamie Bristow and their families in Louth, they’ve also stepped in to help the Provincial Office by taking supplies of hand sanitiser to each of our 21 centres, as far afield as Barton in the north to the Deepings in the south.

The riders are all members of the Lincolnshire Masonic Motorcycle Club, which has also been the driving force behind setting up the Free Wheelers Lodge 9991. It would have been consecrated in May this year had not the Coronavirus lockdown intervened.
Chris Jones, on the right in the picture above, will be the new Lodge’s first Master. He said: “Meals on Wheels deliveries are still taking place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and we are still looking for volunteers to help with those. We’ve also delivered hand sanitiser to every centre in the Province.

“During lockdown we’ve adopted JJ’s cafe in Hagworthingham as a ‘regular’ meeting place for the club. It’s owned by David Freeman, who’s a member of The Olive Union Lodge. It’s central in the Province, and David is kind enough to provide free drinks to those volunteering for the Meals on Wheels programme, for which we’re really grateful.
