Lincolnshire will get its first new lodge since 2006 when the Free Wheelers Lodge 9991 is consecrated on May 16th this year.
The event takes place at the Epic Centre at the Lincolnshire Showground, and is a formal ceremony open only to Master Masons and above at which the Provincial Grand Master, supported by his team of officers, lays the foundations for our new lodge and formally invests its the first officers.
Said Founder member Andy Bagworth: “We would be overjoyed if you could join us at this historic event. The day will commence at 11am with the Consecration Ceremony, which leads straight into the first meeting of the Lodge. After that our members, honoured guests, visitors and friends will sit down to enjoy a festive board.
“The cost of the meal is £39, but if you are not able to dine with us, there is a non-dining booking form which will need to be completed instead.” Booking in can be done on line at the Free Wheelers’ web site here: https://fwlodge.org/consecration-information/ – and master masons are able to attend to dine.
The Lodge has 47 founder members, and a further 30 who are interested in joining – but there is always room for more, said Andy.
The Lodge will meet three times in 2020; at Long Sutton on Saturday June 30th; Skegness on Saturday September 12th, and Grimsby on Saturday October 10th (which might include a fish and chip lunch!) Details can be found here: https://fwlodge.org/events-2/
